As you can see from the above graph, the Shogun does very well. With the fan at full speed, it can maintain the CPU temperature well within safe levels and over 15 degrees Celsius lower than the stock cooler. Given that the Venice is a rather cool core, the results are an achievement indeed. At high speed, the load temperature between stock and overclocked speeds remains almost the same, so the heatsink should be good o­n stronger and hotter cores as well. At low speed, the Shogun becomes completely inaudible and still packs quite a punch, although temperature differences are notable.
