Motherboard compatibility of Ninja PLUS Rev. B CPU Cooler (Model Number: SCNJ-1100P) with ASUS P5B Deluxe and Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4

The actual mounting and testing has been arranged in our test lab that the mounting bracket supplied with Ninja PLUS Rev. B CPU Cooler does fit without interfering or touching the components as shown in the below image.

Disclaimer:
Please note that this compatibility may not apply to all the motherboards as the manufacturer randomly tend to change the components (capacitors, condensers, etc) used for their motherboard without informing to the public. Hence, the height of the capacitors and condensers maybe higher depending on the production lot of the motherboard.
We are not sure if there are different versions of this board out there but it will install and we are currently testing performance levels on the Asus P5B Deluxe.

 
It seems that some motherboard (particularly LGA775 socket) and the mounting bracket (for LGA775) of Ninja PLUS Rev.B CPU Cooler interrupts the heatsink installation. The symptom is that the mounting bracket interferes with the capacitors around the CPU socket. If this symptom causes the installation difficulty, please perform the following steps re-install the CPU cooler:

1. Screws to mount the mounting bracket onto the heatsink
Please make sure to securely tighten the 4 screws (shown in the below image with red arrows) in order to have a firm attachment of the mounting bracket to the heatsink base


2. Rotation of the mounting bracket to the position as shown below
* The screw holes on the mounting bracket to "cover" the capacitors on the motherboard (image shown with a circle).
